Dr. Wendy graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1991. She completed a postgraduate residency in ocular disease at OMNI Eye Services in Memphis in 1991 before entering private practice in New Prague, MN. Dr. Wendy specializes in primary eye care, contact lens fittings, ocular disease, surgical co-management, and urgent care services. She served as president of the Minnesota Optometric Association from 2001 to 2002.

Dr. Tim graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1992. He specializes in primary eye care, contact lens fittings, ocular disease, surgical co-management, and urgent care services. Dr. Tim also enjoys running the finishing lab in the New Prague location. Currently, he makes all of the glasses purchased at Goldsmith Eye Care except for some insurances that require the use of their own lab. In his time off, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time at his property in the Black Hills.

Dr. Jones is originally from New Prague, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Studies. While attending college, Dr. Jones worked for Minnesota Eye Consultants as a Research Coordinator, managing drug and device clinical trials. Dr. Jones received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. While in optometry school, Dr. Jones was a Beta Sigma Kappa honors society member. After graduation, Dr. Jones completed a one-year residency in primary eye care at the Memphis Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tennessee. During this time, she gained further knowledge in managing glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Jones also presented a poster on toxic maculopathy due to hydroxychloroquine use at the American Academy of Optometry. She then obtained a position with an ophthalmologist in Southaven, Mississippi, where she gained valuable experience in cataract, refractive surgery, and dry eye management. Dr. Jones is a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association.

Dr. Thurmes grew up in St. Michael, MN. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. From there, she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. At ICO, she received numerous clinical honors and was a member of Gold Key, Tomb and Key, and Beta Sigma Kappa honor societies. After graduation, she completed a residency in refractive and ocular surgery at Chu Vision Institute, specializing in corneal disease, surgical co-management, and emergency eye care. Dr. Thurmes is a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time on the lake with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Kreuser grew up in New Prague, Minnesota, and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN, where he graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. During his time at SCO, he was a recipient of the First Year Basic Science, First Year Clinical Science, Second Year Basic Science, Second Year Clinical Science, and Third Year Clinical Skills awards, as well as the NBEO Part I Excellence in Achievement award. Dr. Kreuser is a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He is an avid Minnesota Timberwolves fan and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Mackenzie, and their dog, Presley. Dr. Kreuser is eager to be back in Minnesota to serve the community he grew up in and care for the community’s eye care needs.

Dr. Kendra Everson is a native of Sartell, Minnesota, where she graduated high school. She went on to attend the University of Minnesota Morris, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry while playing for the Morris women’s basketball team. She then headed south to Memphis, Tennessee, to earn her Doctorate degree from Southern College of Optometry, graduating with honors. During her time at SCO, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, served as vice president of the Contact Lens Society, and served as class secretary for her class. Dr. Everson is a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Everson enjoys reading, being on the lake, and taking walks with her dog and husband.
